Eleanor and I are going to try and keep a record of the books we read together. I have found that some books work VERY well for her - age-wise and interest-wise - and some books definitely do NOT! This page will be a record of both.

Explanation of categories:
Title, Author - obvious
Age - Eleanor's age when we read it
Engagement* - how well did it hold her attention?
Re-readability* - did it improve the next time? I think most books get better upon re-reading for kids her age, but this is more a rating of how eager she was to reread and how well she learned the story through rereading it
Story* - Was it a good story? Did it make sense to Eleanor? (or ME!?)
Illustrations* - were the illustrations memorable? Did they add or detract? Did Eleanor interact with them?
Category - general categories, especially if it is ABC's or counting, music, etc.
Notes - comments on what we thought
